Tēnā koe!
I am a learner, a teacher, a partner, a friend, a sister, and a mother of three beautiful boys in Aotearoa.

I am an education consultant, coach and collaborator that specialises in play.

I work alongside progressive start-ups, innovators, and organisations within the education sector that are all pushing boundaries in how we teach and treat our children.

I offer sense making, perspective, and practical support to make concepts and dreams achievable.

Together we move through the dance of evolving belief systems, developing concepts, and growing projects. While collectively looking for authentic ways that we can share and include others in those newly learnt dance moves and stay true to core beliefs and values.

I thrive when I'm listening to people's thoughts and journeys, asking sense making questions, and simplifying complex ideas so that they have a sense of clarity and feel empowered to create an intentional path forward.

“If I had an hour to solve a problem and my life depended on the solution, I would spend the first 55 minutes determining the proper question to ask… for once I know the proper question, I could solve the problem in less than five minutes.” - Albert Einstein

Some interesting projects I have, or I am working on -

+ Supported the growth of a loose parts play programme Junky Monkeys as a facilitator, operations manager and now director.

+ Helped start and develop a discussion forum group with Longworth Education that has grown to over 1700 play practitioners learning and sharing collectively.

+ Created my own podcast, and supported the growth of podcast - 'Play Conversations'

+ Facilitated live panel discussions and interviews with other play specialists in Aotearoa

+ Worked behind the scenes on 'The Joy Of Play' virtual conferences, supporting presenters, interviewing and editing recordings, and managing forums on social media.

+ Creating content for a range of initiatives on social media.

+ Co-founded, set up, and co-directed a small alternative school in Auckland

+ Currently volunteering at West Auckland Recycle Centre (WARC) for the pure love of meeting passionate teachers, and diverting waste from landfill.

Please reach out, I love connecting.
